If you’re a plant enthusiast who enjoys taking in the peacefulness of nature next to rustic architecture, this venue is perfect for you. Terrain at Styer’s is located on J. Franklin Styer's nursery, which has been a historical landmark in Philadelphia for over a century.

Upon arriving, you’re greeted by the charming, historic Mushroom House. This building is as delightful on the inside as it is on the outside making it a perfect space for wedding parties to get ready.

Just a short walk from the Mushroom House, you’ll find a stunning plant wall where many couples like to have their first look and read vows to each other. The trees and plants lining the paths give the feeling of being in your own private garden and make for endless photo opportunities.

Taking a short walk through the nursery grounds and down a stone path, you’ll find a nearly century-old wooden pavilion where outdoor ceremonies take place. This ornate structure is a stunning backdrop for ceremonies as well as a perfect location for a couple’s first look.

Depending on the season, some couples choose to have their ceremony indoors. Luckily, the Garden Shed is beautifully set up for this. The lighting inside gives a soft, warm glow to the event, and the textured plants lining the walls give the room rich character.

After the ceremony, it’s time to celebrate! Terrain caters the most delicious hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. This is also a perfect time to take golden hour photos and cuddle up next to a crackling fire with your new spouse.
